QUALITY

Sterling Silver - Pura Gracia sterling silver pieces are made with only the highest quality silver. Pura Gracia takes extra measure to ensure that nickel, an allergen, is not added to its silver products.

Vermeil - Pura Gracia vermeil pieces are coated with 2.5 microns of 14kt gold instead of the industry standard of 1.5 microns coated with 10kt gold.

How is vermeil different from Gold Filled and Gold Plated? Vermeil pieces are made from sterling silver that is bonded with a layer of gold. Gold filled and Gold plated pieces are typically made from budget friendly base metals like copper or brass, that are bonded with a layer of gold.

Gold - Pura Gracia uses the highest quality 14kt solid gold while maintaining a reasonable price point for our customers.

What makes gold different from Vermeil, Gold Filled, and Gold Plated? Solid gold is the highest in quality and gold content.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

The Pura Gracia collection is inspired by European design and ancient craftsmanship.

Sourcing - Our focus is on high quality products that are unique and customizable for our customers. Therefore, we have committed to small scale production in the US to ensure quality control. Pura Gracia jewelry is made with 100% recycled gold. Recycled gold can be refined back to its pure element. It is the same high quality as new metals but able to be repeatedly recycled without depleting our natural resources.

CARE

The Llamadore - Due to hand welding it is recommended that you do not wear the Llamadore in water. To clean or polish follow the recommended instructions below for silver and vermeil.

Sterling Silver - All of our sterling silver pieces are treated with an anti-tarnish solution to help prevent tarnishing. All sterling silver will tarnish over time. We recommend a silver polishing cloth to bring back the shine as needed.

Vermeil - Due to the nature of vermeil we recommend removing your jewelry before household cleaning, showering or swimming. When cleaning, we recommend using a clean soft cloth. Avoid using any treated jewelry polishing clothes and cleaners because they could damage the materials.
