Mayan Legend

The Mayans believed that the chiming pendant’s soothing sound blessed expectant mothers and babies with good luck, good health and protection. Today, in many cultures, this pendant is still given to expectant mothers to not only bless them but to also signify the powerful bond between mother and child.

Celtic Legend

It is said that in ancient times the Celtics wore a pendant that chimed around their necks as instruments of meditation. The subtle sound emitted was a way to communicate with nature. The mystical chime was said to soothe the soul and help promote inner balance and harmony. The belief was that the sound emanated was unique to the individual and was a reminder that the positive energy of a greater power surrounded and protected the wearer.

Ancient Legend

According to the legend, thousands of years ago the elves had to leave the Northern Galicia to live far from the risk that threatened them. Thanks to their friendship with angels, they were given pendants that chimed, a symbol of protection and safekeeping. The angels’ instructions were to gently shake the chime if they found themselves in danger or distress. The sound that the caller makes is a reminder that we are surrounded by angelic energy at all times.
